Non-medicinal ingredients:
Vegetable capsule (hypromellose), magnesium stearate, L-leucine, microcrystalline cellulose.
Dosage (Adults) (Oral):
Take 2 capsules before each meal.
Consult a health care practitioner if use extends beyond 4-6 weeks.
Risk statements:
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking cardiac glycosides such as digitalis/digoxin, blood pressure medication, if insomnia persists for more than 4 to 6 weeks (chronic insomnia), if you suffer from liver or gallbladder disease and/or intestinal obstruction, if you suffer from high blood pressure, or cardiovascular disorders, and if symptoms persist or worsen. Consumption of skullcap in combination with alcoholic beverages, or any other medication or natural health product with sedative effects is not recommended.
Contraindications Do not use if you suffer from hypokalemia or kidney disorders. Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiotonic glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives, or any other medication that may aggravate electrolyte imbalances. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Known adverse effects Some people may experience drowsiness; exercise caution if operating motorized vehicles, or if engaging in activities requiring alertness. Hypersensitivity or allergy may occur. If so, discontinue use.
