Recommended uses or purposes:

Dosage (Adults) (Oral):
Put 1 heaping teaspoon in 1 cup of boiling water. Cover, let stand for 20 minutes and filter. Drink 1 cup at bedtime. Increase or decrease dose as needed.

Do not use this product if you are under 12 years of age, if you suffer from colon inflammation, abdominal pain of unknown origin, or if you suffer from heart problems. Not recommended for people suffering from severe dehydration.
