From 1888 until today, see the evolution of Normex Herbages Ltd. as a company that values tradition and natural formulas that heal.
It all started over 120 years ago with the "Red Indian Family".
In 1888, plant treatment was available for the first time to thousands of Canadians. It was Canada's largest direct-service home-care company for plants treatments.
In early 1978, the flames destroyed the "Red Indian" laboratories in Pointe-Claire, Quebec.
Early 1979, the master herbalist Mr. Robert Normandin founded "Normex Herbages Ltd.".
Normex Herbages Ltd. has maintained the same herbal treatment philosophy as the "Red Indian Family".
The basis of our recipes has been respected in terms of medicinal ingredients, but some have had to be slightly modified in order to offer better efficiency. However, supplementation has adapted to the needs of the 20th century.
The way to treat health disorders is unique. A well detailed file is used by our herbalists to give an appropriate and personalized treatment to each individual.
The company "Herbages Normex Ltd." uses the same philosophy as Chinese medicine. All treatments are evaluated and recommended according to the law of the five elements known in traditional Chinese medicine.
